4 Cups of Milk – organic coconut or almond milk (I use Pureharvest Organic Coco Quench)
8 Tbsp – Chia Seeds
2 Cups Mixed Berries – organic
4 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
1 Tin Organic Coconut Cream
Crushed mixed nuts to top
Mix all ingredients, minus the nuts and coconut cream.
Using 4 glass containers, layer the chia mix and coconut cream
Pop on the lid and place in the fridge overnight.
When ready to eat top with some crunch nuts for a lovely texture and added nutrition
Once you get in the swing of making these highly nutritious little morsels you can experiment with many different varieties. Try substituting 1 cup of milk for a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice and add a little orange zest.
Toppings are only limited by your imagination – coconut cream, coconut flakes, roasted almonds, blueberries, goji berries and cacao nibs are just a start.
